Character is
the most valuable thing you or your children will ever learn. Consider the words of
America's early leaders—the men who began and protected our nation.
"There is an indissoluble union
between virtue and happiness."
—George Washington
"The foundations of national
morality must be laid in private families."
—John Adams
"Without virtue, man can have no
happiness in this world."
—Benjamin Franklin
"We seek to prevent crime by
inspiring virtue at an early age."
—Daniel Webster
"To educate a person in mind
and not in morals is to educate a menace to society."
—Teddy Roosevelt
The early leaders of
America believed character was key to success and happiness; both
for individuals as well as the nation as a whole. But now America is
pulling apart at the seams. Why? A careful examination will show
it's largely due to a lack of godly character in citizens.
We want something better
for the next generation. And there is a way! We want to share with
you some of the character-building resources we use in our own
family. We've implemented these
books and
Bible helps during individual devotional time, as
well as group Bible study. We would love to see you use them to equip your children (and yourself) in
Biblical, godly character. Bible helps because:
"It is impossible to
rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."
